There's so much to do in Encantada, but venture farther afield and you'll find more sightseeing magic. Grab a set of wheels and you can meander around the surrounding region at your own pace. Add these fantastic destinations to your list:

• You'll discover Flamenco Beach and countless other amazing sights in Culebra. From Encantada, it's roughly 45 miles away.
• Roughly 40 miles away, Garrochales is also popular with wanderers. Set aside time to experience Bosque Estatal De Cambalache while you're here. It's one of the reasons people love this colorful city.
• Mona Island is approximately 130 miles from Encantada and is one of the region's most gorgeous nature spots. Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy the fresh air.

If you don't hold a driver's license issued in Puerto Rico, then you might need to get an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence in order to rent a car. Also consider that if you do need an IDP, it won't be valid on its own. You'll have to show your current driver's license your passport and other forms of ID as well.
