"There were some small issues with the cabin, but nothing that made us want to leave. I informed the company and they were very responsive. Its a cute cabin and loved the cabin theme throughout. We had a great time as a family and enjoyed our stay and loved utilizing the porch area. Very cute cabin."

"My husband and I spent the weekend at the Elwood Escape for our wedding anniversary. We really enjoyed the set up of the home and we spent a lot of time in the back yard by the fire pit. We took advantage of the hikes and were able to bring our small dog with us. We also loved that one of the restaurants/bar was across the street from the home and were able to walk to the location. Over all we enjoyed this nice quiet escape from the city."

"The property was clean, checking in and out was easy. We wish we would have known that the bedrooms were as small as they were (the bed is too small for two adults), more blankets on the beds would be good too. Also, propane tanks were empty as a result we couldn't grill or use the outside fireplace (that was a bummer). However, would consider renting it again!"

"We stayed several days for a wedding with our son the groom and several of his groomsmen. The house is large and was great for hosting our group. For the size the house is very clean and has anything you need for cooking or enjoying your stay. The weather wasn’t great and we were gone a good bit but the hot tub was a hit and also the basement area which had 4-5 beds and pool table which was nice for the groomsmen not to mention the other 4 bedrooms. "We stayed over Presidents’ Day weekend. Great little place about 15 min from the mountain. The cozy fireplace room is perfect after a day of skiing. Everything you need and nothing you don’t. Would be a nice place in the summer as well. Highly recommend"

We took the advice of the guide and visited Chet’s Place for dinner and visited the nearby lake. Both were great.
