My husband and I stayed here while attending the Kenny Chesney concert. Everything was great! The convenience of the PGH transit subway was an added bonus. The Steel Plaza terminal took us right to the stadium for free.

The campus is within the 3 mile shuttle radius. The shuttle driver picked us up at an alternaitve dinner spot, Lucca Ristorante.

Stayed here with my family when we did college drop off. This was an excellent choice as we had rented a car. The drive to and from was not bad and worth it if you like a quiet get away from the bustling city. Although adjust drive during "rush" hour, it was normally 15-30 mins. Worth it for us as we saved a little money. Additionally, we were near the shopping center so we were able to picking up missing items for our kids dorm.

A reasonable alternative to staying downtown or closer to CMU campus, as the hotel is located in Homestead, which is just across the bridge connected to Oakland.
