The Space


CB Surf Cottage is a 3 bedroom, 2 full bath vacation property that sleeps up to 6 guests and features an artsy, mid-century modern interior and beautifully landscaped exterior. The property offers a fully stocked kitchen with modern appliances and an outdoor grilling area for the home chef. After a long day of surfing, wash off in the large outdoor shower, store your board on the outdoor rack and relax under the shaded outdoor deck. The location is perfect for a quiet escape, but you are just a short walk or bike ride to all that the area has to offer. The property is also conveniently located next to the Island Greenway, a walking/biking trail that leads to Mike Chappell park which has tennis and pickleball courts, a skatepark, basketball courts, playground and sports fields. On Saturdays, take a short walk to Carolina Beach Lake for the local farmer's market or watch the fireworks from the deck on Thursday nights through Labor Day. Whether you are a beginner, an experienced surfer or just a beach lover, CB Surf Cottage offers something for everyone.

Enjoyable stay
The house was perfect for my family. Enoyed the layout and the patio area. Very clean, wonderful kitchen. The showers were zero step, so no worries about loosing balance. The only complaint I have is the location pin was near the beach and we were 6 blocks from the beach, so walking to the boardwalk was a 30-40 minute walk from the house instead of a 10 minute walk

Overall impression; this was a nice house. It had all the amenities as described. The bikes and beach equipment were a nice plus. The outdoor seating area was comfy. However, I don't think the house had been vacuumed prior to our arrival as there was a lot of hair on the floor in the master bedroom and bath. There also was some food on the rug in the living room. Finally, the location was not as close to the beach as you were led to believe in the description of the property.

Surf cabin
This cottage is super! It was well stocked with bikes and beach gear! It looked exactly as photos advertised and was incredibly clean. The location is probably a 10 minute walk from beach; however, we enjoyed being near the greenway to ride the bikes. The back deck was amazing and we enjoyed sitting outside in the evening. This is perfect for a family vacation. We loved the attention to detail and the surf decor was spot on. Easy communication with property management. We would definitely love to rent again!

Loved the house
It is a lovely property, not quite as close to the beach as we had thought. This is a duplex and the neighbors have a dog that you can hear bark through the walls
