I loved the property in general. The pool and hot tubs were amazing and the view was really great.
Checkin was weird. They were training someone but the trainer needed more training. We arrived about 20 minutes before advertised checkin time and they gave us our keys. We had to talk to someone else to get a parking pass. While there, the woman who checked us in ran over and wanted our keys back because our room wouldn’t be ready until exactly 4. It was weird the way they handled it. It took a minute for me to find them and she ran back to her desk to cancel them as if we were going to do something bad.
I also asked if our room was easily accessible because my mom is 85 and they said yes. It was actually not unless you used stairs- it was right in between both elevators, so the longest walk possible if you didn’t use stairs.
They also didn’t make up the sofa bed so I guess thought the three of us would share one bed. They said the sheets were there for us to do it ourselves.
Then they called and asked for “Mrs. Hyatt” and woke my sleeping daughter. Seems like the front desk actually prank called us.
With better-trained help this hotel would be amazing. But as is I’m not sure I’d go back.
