"Original farmhouse with the old charm and updated amenities, dishwasher, aircon, etc. The house is comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and functional. The aircon almost keeps up on the hot days (June/July) downstairs, less so upstairs. The climate cools off enough at night to open windows (screened) for sleeping. "I booked Austin’s property back in October for the week after Christmas. We attempted to add an additional day to our reservation, and tried for 2 months to get in contact with Austin. A week before our stay he sent an invoice for the additional day he never confirmed. Then he cancelled our entire reservation the day before, without any notice, claiming the house was flooded. "The Nest is one of our favorite places to stay. No neighbors as it's on a private road. Loved that!!! The river view from the deck is so relaxing to watch. Birds galore!! Shannon is an amazing host she replies quickly to our questions and her place is stocked with many great amenities."
