The main problem was being awakened at 3am by loud rooster crowing from the poolside through the closed windows. I kept hearing this occasionally until I needed to wake up at 6:30 for diving. The other thing that wasn't perfect was the A/C unit seemed oversized and generated a big breeze when on and overcooled. We were so impressed with Governors Village! This place was perfect for 4 couples since everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. It was super clean, well maintained, spacious, quiet and comfortable. The apartment was in a fantastic location just a couple of minutes walk from Governors Beach. There was plenty of parking and nice facilites (pool, restaurant, laundry, ping pong table, etc.) We only wished it had an in-unit washer and dryer to handle all the wet swimsuits and towels. It cost $10 to wash and dry a load of laundry."
