The weather was the perfect getaway from the NY winter. The staff and everyone on the island were welcoming and respectful. The hotel was well maintained with beautiful amenities. The staff were attentive to our needs and always greeted us with a smile and they even remembered addressed us by our names throughout the stay. They checked in on us regularly to make sure our needs were met. We came to celebrate my mom’s birthday and they made sure to make every encounter a celebration without us even requesting it (lunch, breakfast and dinner). The beach was a short distance away (less than 10 min walk) with easy access to Bonny Moon. Sunsets at Pom Pom rooftop was breathtaking. Overall I highly recommend staying here. The island itself is very expensive but it was worth the splurge. The bed was very comfortable. Dragona, I believe was the staff members name, went over and above with help when we requested a typical coffee pot vs the K-cup expresso style. She was always prompt with a response to any questions we had.It was quiet and had some beautiful roof top sunsets! We rented a car to be able to explore the island. Although we could access the beach just down the road, we typically would drive about 10 mins to get more toward the center of seven mile beach. It was so nice how frequent there were signs to access the beach and just park alongside the road. Seven mile is unbelievable! Highly recommend the stay! The water smelled like sewage. When filled the jacuzzi tub water was so dark and murky we didn’t get in it. The lady at the dive club was putting on makeup when we came in and didn’t lower her mirror to acknowledge us. The staff at the restaurant were very polite and friendly. The food was good most days but the beach bar tender was rather rude. Overall this isn’t a resort I would recommend.
