Staff was welcoming, but did not mention several things that I would expect at a hotel of this caliber…no valet or bell person before 8:30am. Would have been nice to find out on arrival rather than morning of departure. Person helping us then was polite and did give a good explanation of how and where to retrieve our car."

"Absolutely beautiful place. The architecture is stunning, the atmosphere is peaceful and classy, and the entire property has a very unique feel. The rooms and amenities are great, with plenty to enjoy—from the lake and boats to the restaurants and beautiful outdoor spaces. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful, and I really appreciated that almost everyone spoke very good English. It’s a great place to relax, enjoy good food, meet people, and take amazing photos. If you’re staying in Paris and want to escape the city for a day or a weekend, the Abbaye des Vaux de Cernay is only about 45 minutes to an hour outside Paris and absolutely worth the trip. Definitely a must-visit, and I would absolutely go back!"
