We had a nice time but was hoping for some sharper service and conditions. I made sure to share it was my wife's bday, and the gentleman at the desk seem completely unaware, which didn't align with the specialness your property aligns to deliver. They didn't come up to our door afterwards and offer a glass of wine, but it felt like an after thought, and a glass of wine doesn't feel all that special, let alone that the glasses tasted like something very general and my wife didn't like either the red or white. The room was lovely BUT the nightstands and table lamps were all very dusty. The carpet also turned out socks brown. I'm sure you vacuum BUT that doesn't "clean" a nice thick carpet like yours. The breakfast was tasty and everyone was very nice. They have an area that doubles as a wedding and event property so the outdoor sitting areas have that same early century feeling. The rooms have more character than the cut and pace, sterile environment, hotels, and motels out there.
