This review has nothing to do with the property. When my daughter flew in to Charlotte and took an Uber to the property she was told that due to the global Microsoft outage they could not be checked in. This was at 2 am. They had to secure a different hotel in which to spend the night. This hotel had one person working the desk and driving the shuttle. Obviously there was no shuttle. There was no help from the one person working to try and find alternate accommodations. Just basically good luck. Fortunately they did find another hotel that could take them at 4 am. My problem is that due to outage beyond their control I have paid for a hotel room that was never used and could not have been used. So I am out $140 for a room that they tried to check in and was told they could not. I am also out $220 for the alternate hotel room they had to find on their own. I am very unhappy with Expedia due to their being no refund for a paid room that was unoccupied due to something beyond our control. Will NEVER use Expedia for any bookings in the future and will make sure everyone I know hears this and hopefully they will never use your site for any bookings in the future.
