Quaint rooms with exposed beams and old fashioned claw foot tub. However, for those with mobility issues, this is not the place for you. Multiple flights of stairs that are difficult and the tub is hard to get in and out of. The toilet is also off in a small closet and heating/cooling are hard to control. I appreciated the little details to make my dog feel welcome as well - water bowl, dog bed, and treats ready for the stay! The bar was convenient for a relaxing drink in the back patio area. It's centrally located in Stow-on-the-Wold and right by the bus stop. I was able to easily take the local bus to neighboring towns for exploring and getting to the train station. Friendly staff, super clean, great food and drinks, and a perfect location. The linens are so soft and the bed comfortable, although a British King (US Queen). Staff were wonderful. Easy checkin. Carried our bags up to our room. Room was nice with a small sitting area. Good bed (hard pillows were the only negative). Breakfast options were great.
