Aylworth is predominantly a family run home and farm in the heart of the Cotswolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, close to many historic towns and villages. The Granary has been converted and upgraded to a very high standard and offers a spacious open -plan beamed living/ kitchen/ dining room with open fire, wooden floors and a modern fitted kitchen with granite worktops. There is a double bedroom with ensuite shower room and twin room with ensuite bathroom and hand held shower. Stairs offer access to a mezzanine sitting room overlooking the ground floor. The Granary sleeps 4 plus a child, cot available and 2 well behaved dogs are allowed to stay at any one time. Aylworth is home to numerous animals including dogs, ducks, chickens and horses. The Granary offers use of the well maintained gardens, BBQ area and tennis court. There is direct access to many bridleways and footpaths such as The Windrush Way. Naunton 1 mile, Bourton on the Water 4 miles, Stow on the Wold 7 Miles Cheltenham 12 miles. The Granary is perfectly situated for exploring the Cotswolds. The property is located on a beautiful estate close to the village of Naunton. It is well maintained, clean, warm, cosy, spacious and very well equipped with everything one could possibly need, including the lovely open fire. Feel like you are being watched all the time as they live opposite. Jo was sneakily taking photos of us from behind the door of her catering van! A complete lack of privacy and made us feel really uncomfortable, ultimately ruining our stay. Beds uncomfortable and lots of dust/cobwebs. Very clean, spacious and in a great location. Lots of lovely little touches that made our stay so welcoming. Great for families as there is a lot of space in the open planned living areas. Jonny was a great host and extremely welcoming. It was spacious and clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The location is great for exploring the Cotswolds and the hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. It was very useful for the property to have a second bathroom with a bath with a door to the twin room which could be locked if needed. A warm welcome from the host and a surprise basket of local wine & chocolates was a nice touch for New Year. The property had everything we needed for a short stay in the Cotswolds and is a convenient place to either relax for a few days or use as a jumping off point to explore the local area. We would stay here again.
