From the moment we arrived, the host made us feel genuinely welcomed—warm, attentive, and truly invested in making our experience special.The property itself is breathtaking. The beautiful South African–inspired landscape creates the perfect setting to disconnect from the world and reconnect with nature. The kids absolutely loved exploring the grounds and were blown away by the free-roaming African wildlife—rhinos, giraffes, and so many other incredible animals. Watching their excitement made the trip even more memorable.The facilities are incredible and thoughtfully stocked. They truly have everything you might need—even fishing gear for the stocked ponds. One of the highlights was the private safari tour. You’re taken out in a fully enclosed, climate-controlled side-by-side to explore the 3,000-acre preserve, and it was an experience our whole family will be talking about for years.Another major plus: the roads throughout the ranch are well maintained, so you do not need a 4x4 vehicle. We were able to comfortably drive the property, and the freedom to explore and hike at our own pace made the stay even more enjoyable.We also opted for the personal chef experience, which was a standout highlight of our trip. A big thank you to Kristine, who went above and beyond to help us choose the perfect meals for both the adults and the kids. Her thoughtful recommendations truly complemented the time we spent on "

"An Amazing Home for Our Large Group Vacation!What an incredible house! We booked it for a group of 16 and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how spacious, clean, and well-built it is. The three floors and five bedrooms gave everyone plenty of room to spread out, and the six bathrooms were a lifesaver during our stay. Kids enjoyed the bedroom with 8 bunk beds.We made great use of all the amenities: cooking meals in the well laid out kitchen, grilling on the huge balcony, and relaxing in the massive living room. The elevator was an unexpected luxury that made moving luggage and groceries a breeze. The property is beautifully situated right on the lake, and having access to the dock was wonderful.This house truly has it all. We created lasting memories here and would book again in a heartbeat. A five-star experience!"

"This was a great place for our large family to stay. There are two bunk rooms and lots of beds. Be aware one is rather far from the house and up stairs with no bathroom. It was fine for our 20-somethings though. Lots of sitting areas and area to play. The outdoor TV was great for the football games!I do not recommend paying for the “heated pool.” It never got even a little warm, definitely way too cold to swim in, but I couldn’t get the 300 back.I have not received my very large deposit back, so I hope I don’t regret this Excellent rating. We do hope to go back, maybe in the summer. "
