The online presence of this Hotel makes it look better than it is. It is an old hotel with some cosmetic upgrades. The fitness room is not well equipped. That's too bad. If they had spent a little more money and had done things right, they would have a nice hotel. Peeling floor paint in the outside corridors, ill fitting doors, sloppy workmanship in the renovated bathroom. Rusty door stoppers. It would be better to under promise and over perform, instead of over promising. They set themselves up for disappointment. The staff was helpful checking in and out. The breakfast staff was very nice (I came a bit late and was given toast and utensils, when I requested them anyway). The bed was comfortable. I felt safe. The windows silenced the noise of the adjacent freeway.
