"Disgusting!!! Avoid at all cost. Upon arrival the caravan stunk There was mould in the fridge with leftover food which had also gone mouldy Wee in the toilet No gas/water/electric upon arrival we had to wait for the owner to.tell us how to plumb this... after 2.5 hours of waiting. The oven had no shelves for us to cook and only 1 hob worked. We decided to leave within 3 hours of being there once we found alternative arrangement. The owner refused to refund our 3 night stay aswell deeming it...

"The caravan was very clean on arrival. The host had left cleaning products for us. The beds were made and also extra bedding. Clean towels were available. The host called before we arrived to let us know she had left ice lollies for the children and some crisps. There was also things like ready meals, tea, coffee, sugar and sauces. Also a bbq to use. "

"We booked last minute to get out of the bustle of the city. Suzanne and John were really thoughtful in sharing that there was unexpected roadwork outside the cottage, giving us the opportunity to find another place to stay but we decided to go ahead and are so glad that we did. "We went for the Clacton air show and was the last weekend before my daughter goes travelling. Had a great time The caravan was clean and tidy fresh bedding and the beds was made up. There was games consoles with games to play,leaflets for local attractions and takeaway menus in case you didn’t like the food at the boathouse All in all it was a great weekend and would stay again"

"A nice modern caravan in a good location, close to town and the beach. It appeared a bit grubby in laces when we arrived so I have the work surfaces and some of the kitchen crockery/ glasses/ cups a rinse with hot soapy water as appeared a bit greasy/ fingerprint marks. Overall a pleasant stay."

A pleasant surprise
"Check in was friendly and efficient even though a large group was arriving for a function. Room was clean and pleasant with a sea view ( a nice bonus ) and a decent size . Arriving back late in the evening staff were attentive , good humoured and helpful. Breakfast was freshly cooked and of generous proportions , once again with good natured and helpful staff. A very pleasant experience and one I look forward to repeating next time I'm in Clacton - Well Done"
