“The owner Barry is a delightful human and so kind. The office has snacks available for most of the day. Which is great if you can't get service at the local tavern or restaurant apres ski, like we couldn't. The beds were super comfy and the rooms were cozy and warm. ”

“Our stay at the Creekside Lodge was great! We were helped by the innkeeper Todd who was one of the nicest persons we have ever met. He was so helpful and friendly and really helped to make us feel warm and welcome the entire time. Our unit was a suite and it was very clean on the inside. The Lodge was conveniently located near “everything” in this little town and was a few minute drive from Grover State Park. We would absolutely stay here again. ”

“Cute and compact, as expected. No barking dogs like last review, but was thankful we brought paper towels and did our shopping prior to arriving in Walker. Coffee shop nearby was great. Didn’t spend a lot of time at property besides sleeping and breakfast. Served as a home base for our sight seeing.”

“This place was perfect for our weekend getaway. Check in and check out was easy. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we could ever need.”

“When my wife and I stayed it appears that they were in the process of updating and renovating this entire motel. The interior of our room had already been updated with fresh paint, new fixtures, floors, bed, bed stands, flat screen tv and a remodeled bathroom. Now It didn't mention it in the listing but I believe that the bathroom floors were heated which was a pleasant surprise. Markleeville has creature comforts, so don't worry if you forget some staple items. Grover Hot Springs is worth a visit and a hike to the waterfalls. The hot springs are fabulous, but reserve 2 days in advance online. Kirkwood is the best ski resort of the bunch, and it's just 35 minutes away. “Comfortable cabin, close to lots of fishing. We had a great time. With no contact at the property, we weren’t too sure how to check in and check out. Once I found a phone number, the lady (check in) and gentleman (check out) made it easier.”
