“First the front desk people were incredibly helpful, particularly Lorenzo, who was one of the most friendly and dedicated staff I’ve ever seen. That guy can do anything! They helped us with restaurants, bus schedules, beach towels and even a loaner umbrella—everything we needed. The hotel is very nice with a good breakfast and great location. “A disappointing stay overall. The hotel itself is beautiful — the location is perfect, the pool is lovely, and the rooms are wonderful. What let it down was the lack of accommodation to reasonable requests. I'm a poor sleeper, so before our holiday I emailed to confirm our double room could be set up as a twin, since Expedia listed the room as "double or twin." I was told the room was booked as a double and this hadn't been specified, and both my request for a twin setup and for an extra bed……

The room they switched us too had large bed bugs crawling across the comforter and pillows. Absolutely disgusting. The third room we were moved too was clean and comfortable. However, the way they offered a brief apology, a shrug, and nothing more was very disappointing. Obviously not the hotel’s fault a previous guest brought in bed bugs, but for them to not spot……
