If you pay in person at Fairway Inn in FWB FL, & its with a Debit/Credit card, Make sure you get a reciept, & I noticed they swipe & hold $100.00 even when my total with taxes for 1 night would equal $83

When a hotel advertises as oceanfront, use google earth to get an actual satellite to ensure it is actually beachfront. Check the type of water ie bay, ocean, river. I included a picture of the view from this hotel on the fourth floor. As you can see, this hotel was not beachfront. The beaches in Destin are beautiful.
Watch your kids on public beaches. Found a used needle at the public beach. Nothing to do with the hotel or the city. Just be careful with them searching the sea floor or the sand.
