“I enjoyed my brief stay at the property. The check in process was unusual. I talked with the property manager via Ring and the place was unlocked. Also, I was initially unsure which room I would occupy. But everything got sorted out. The location is very, very close to the street, but the building, which apparently was constructed in 1810, was so well constructed that any noises from passing traffic could not be heard. The room was quiet and comfortable. The ambience of the place was……

“This cute little place was just enough. We planned our lodging late and were blessed to find a clean, adorable home with nice touches like LED fireplaces, nice TVs, and a porch swing on the back deck. The kitchen is equipped enough to make various meals, maybe not if you’re a self-taught chef like my husband LOL but we certainly didn’t starve and we did cook salmon in foil pouches over the outdoor fire pit that has a cooking grate. The kids had so much fun with that and roasting marshmallows and……

“The cabin was very nice, clean, everything you needed was there. At first you're lost because of how room is but still nice. Water pressure for shower was awesome. Hot tub good as well. Never saw or met the Host but I sent message and he was quick to respond. I would recommend.”

“If you move in and find a lot of bugs, I have a good method to get rid of them without having to do it by hand. You can catch the bugs in the trash can and flush them down the toilet. But it's difficult to flush the bug corpses out of the room's toilet.”

“The She Shed was great. Cozy little spot. Stayed for three nights and slept great. The hosts we're awesome: helpful and hospitable. The cabin was stocked well enough that we could cook a little breakfast in the morning and head off to Mammoth Cave for some hiking during the day. Really happy I found this spot. Glamping is where it's at.”

“I didn't like the bed because you could not sleep 2 people up there. The parking sucked has to carry everything up the hill and the wrap around porch should have a roof so when it rains you can still enjoy sitting outside and in the hot tub and the cleaner was really rude we did not know it was central time when we showed up so we were on time on our time it was our anniversary and could not even contact the host if we needed roo”

“Space was good. The towels and bedding smelt like cigarettes and there was a small stain on the sheets but overall, I enjoyed my stay.”
