Biggest issue was that our room access fob never worked during our stay. Every time we returned, we had to go to the front desk & have someone let us into the room.
9/26, we reported the issue after check-in. Front desk attendant was very friendly & apologetic & said maintenance would fix it the next morning. Later, it still was not fixed. George was also friendly & apologetic, but said maintenance did not work weekends & told us it should be handled before we returned that evening. It was not.
9/27, Angel again had to let us in & said she would apply a partial credit for the inconvenience. That credit never appeared.
Breakfast was also disappointing. 9/27, the attendant spent several minutes actively flirting with a male guest instead of tending to the breakfast area. The coffee was empty, & when I told her, she said, “Oh, okay,” then went right back to flirting with him & asking about his musical interests rather than addressing it.
9/28, only hot gluten-free options were egg whites & Impossible sausage. As someone who is gluten-free & prefers a protein-based breakfast, that left me with essentially Honey Nut Cheerios. I expected real eggs & a traditional protein option. When we asked, the attendant said she was trying to give everyone a “healthy breakfast,” which was why there was no regular meat. Her attitude was also poor.
The room itself was fine but very small. The front desk staff were friendly, but the door was never fixed & the promised credit was never issued.
