The first morning was greeted by the breakfast lady and was told to go bar, no food available and tbh it wasn’t the best atmosphere was treated like a hindrance shame as it was the first impression and when you get a 5 year old ready for breakfast and was waiting around for hours was not a good start to the day . “Booked a valley castle room w king bed for one night in late Sep. Room was very clean with comfy n up to date decor. Room was big enough and soundproof quality was good. Big garden surrounded hotel n we took a pleasant walk the next day. Should have stayed for one or two nights so as to enjoy swimming pool and other facilities. The historical building was well maintained. Very pleasant stay ”
