"My husband and I really enjoyed the views and amenities given by this property. It was a good place with shallow water for kids to fish safely. The Air Hockey table was a winner for all ages. Nick, the host was always cheerful and helpful. I really do recommend spending a few days here to relax with friends and family."

"We stayed at this house for our daughter’s graduation from the University of Richmond. Campus was 10 to 15 minutes away. Grocery store is minutes away. Great to have 2-1/2 baths with six adults in the house getting ready. Plenty of space for all of us to hang out together. Christian was very responsive to any communication I had with him. Great place to stay."

The house was possibly the cleanest place that we’ve rented. We didn’t see any bugs or dog hair inside, even though it’s dog friendly and on the lake. "The house was great. The only issue is the path to the lake was not cut. Weeds/grass are 10-12 inches high. The neighbors grass was cut but there was strict guidance to walk on the left side of the neighbors tree and of course that was in the tall grass. Other than that everything was great and we would stay there again."

"Very pretty Property. Comfortable, Welcoming, and spacious. The beds and pillows very comfy and nice. Beautiful views. Kitchen has everything needed. We loved the fire place and fire pit. One tip would be to have more information about how the all TV's work - Instructions on starting the gas fire place, fixing the ice machine, and the one burner on the stove would be a plus and having all light fixtures working upon arrival. Great Family Location. We hope to visit this property again."

"Base Camp D was once again the perfect gathering place for our family Thanksgiving celebration. The kids took over the basement (and hot tub) while the adults visited upstairs. Sitting on the porch next to the heater was perfect for reading, meditating, and intimate conversations. Our only glitch was the breaker throwing twice but maintenance came right away. Wonderful place!"
