“Our stay at Quinta Da Marka was exceptional. This centuries-old vineyard overlooks the Douro River, with sweeping views in every direction. The accommodations are a newer addition and include seven comfortable, well-appointed rooms. Guests can also enjoy the pool, scenic river-view terraces, and walking paths through the vineyard. “Nice place in historic town. Room was large, clean, and bed was comfortable. Town is walkable, I walked from the bus stop. The hotel has a restaurant and the breakfast is nice, they set up a taxi service and they were nice. I did use cash in town and for the taxi which was appreciated. Everyone was so nice even though I didn't speak Portuguese.”
