“I travelled with my mother to hike the Falls Trail at Rickett’s Glen, and we wanted to be comfortable in our downtime. This place was perfect. It’s just a few minutes to the park itself, and the parking lot at the bottom of the trail is right down the road. There is a 90% chance you’ll miss the driveway the first time, even if you read a review warning you the driveway is easy to miss, lol. This is not a complaint! “First time in a real B&B and it was wonderful. We were pleasantly greeted by our host and she showed us our room and explained to us, what to expect during our stay. Clay was very knowledgeable about the area, pointing out places to eat and how to reach all the hiking trails. She was a very good conversationalist. We had wonderful conversations about our lives, family and friends. We spent most of our time hiking, sight-seeing all the waterfalls, covered bridges and all the beautiful creations……

“The hotel was fantastic. The room was gorgeous and spacious. It’s a small family owned hotel, and the owners were very friendly, polite and courteous. The only gripe I have is not with the property or the owners/operators, but with the location of the property. It’s pretty remote. Not many amenities near by. This is a little frustrating because if you want drinks or snacks in the evening, the only options are a Dollar General and a gas station/mini-mart near by. Again, this issue is with……
