Peaceful stay
House is great. Neighborhood near by wasn’t great, but felt safe. Water was greenish, but kids still had fun swimming. Beautiful and peaceful property, house was clean and as described. I’d recommend.

Nice place
Place was just like the photos, but a different set up as the kitchen is in the basement. Hot tub their was no directions and all buttons were worn so you couldnt see what they were for. Water in hot tub never for above 70 so we were unable to use it. Water also looked very low and note on outside said not to add water. Overall a great place but near nothing. A perfect place to get away from the city.

Very nice lake house
This property was a quick drive from the cities. It was directly on a beautiful lake with some lovely scenery. Its right by a boat launch and has its own dock. Four bedrooms. One (Q+2T) was slightly away from the others - the rest all on the same slightly upper floor. Hot tub was nice, kids love foosball and the beach. House was very well stocked (typical rental things). We had a great long weekend with kids and friends. We rarely considering visiting a rental again as we like to go new places, but this house was very nice and the kids loved the water.

Excellent property with many things to do. It rained 1 afternoon so we played bags in the detached garage. The kitchen is also located in basement so its ex access from the lake front. Just an excellent get away !!!

We very much enjoyed our girls' weekend at the house. The house has everything you need for a relaxing and fun weekend. Check in was very easy and communication was top notch. We would come back in a heartbeat!

The layout of the house was great. The kitchen was stocked with everything you needed. We did however had a leak in the ceiling on the main floor bedroom which resulted in lack of sleep due to the drops falling in the bucket, and had to move the furniture so it didn’t get anymore wet then it was. Lauren was very quick with getting back to me but couldn’t do anything about it. We did have a ping pong game out in the garage but I did a lot of cleaning before going on in. The counter tops (looking out the windows) and next to the refrigerator were disgusting. I also wiped down all the chairs. We enjoyed the outside area with the sand beach a lot.

What a great experience!
First, the communication was amazing! . For those who have upcoming bookings, the location can be deceiving,when your gps says you are there and you start to panic because it’s nothing like the photos , keep going and you’ll turn into the driveway and relax. :).. The layout is perfect for a family that uses and gathers a lot in the kitchen. Everything you would ever need to cook is provided. The gas grill right outside the door is perfect too. The reviews of the beach were totally accurate, it kept the grandkids busy all day and at 5 and 8 they could stand quite a ways out. We used the yard and the fire pit every night and super convenient to pay for your firewood on site. Loved having the extra frig in the garage too . The only differences from the listing that would’ve been great to know is that the master bedroom has a full size bed verses a Queen listed and one bedroom had bunk beds which we weren’t expecting and with a disabled child we had to go grab an air mattress however with that being said, everything else was better than expected. This is our 5th year in a row booking an August vrbo rental and this is the only time we’ve all decided we wanted to come back to the same spot next year! Highly recommend.

Perfect location. A little strange bathroom arrangement.
We had a wonderful long weekend. A larger bad upstairs would have been nice instead of the full. Our adult children felt the location and size was lovely but a bit dirty in spots and burned out light bulbs. Hot tub was low on water but we didn’t use due to hot weather.

Good family get away
The house was very nice and spacious. We really loved being on the water and having the beach. The hot tub was a little bit of a disappointment. Only half the jets worked and it was very full of bugs and had an obscene amount of chemicals. Overall would recommend. We would have booked again for next year but the rates doubled so we found another location for next years trip.

Family gathering
This property was perfect for our purpose of enjoying our adult children and grandchildren on a lake home get away. We had everything we needed to be comfortable inside and out. Well equipped kitchen and great to have a laundry to use! All 10 of us could be in the great room in the mornings enjoying coffee while the children played. We all ate together at the same table in the large kitchen. The beach was perfect for our 1 and 3 year old grandchildren. We took turns using the paddle boat and cruising the beautiful lake. We played lawn games and ping-pong in the garage. Everything was great and we had a wonderful time being together. The owner was very attentive when we had a concern about the refrigerator. A repair man was sent to check it out immediately! The lake was beautiful and peaceful. Will definately go back!

Ah-Mazing Family Weekend
This home is beautiful, inside and out! Lake views are amazing! Sunsets are gorgeous! Nice quiet lake with a private beach. The patio is a great spot to hang out in the evenings with a hot tub, sitting area, bar table/chairs with an amazing lake view. Mornings are awesome, so peaceful and quiet we loved all the various bird noises. Owner Communication is great! We contacted the owner with a question we had regarding a door lock, she responded immediately with a solution. Excellent location! Had a fabulous stay! We will book again!

Nice set up for a large group with young kids
This was a very nice property. We had a group of extended family which included young children (under 5) and the set up was nice so that the bedrooms were far enough from the kitchen and gathering areas to accommodate for early bedtimes. One recommendation for families with young children would be the bring a couple of baby gates are there are multiple stairs. Air conditioning was slightly lacking but luckily it was a cooler week, bedrooms would have been toasty at night otherwise. Nearly everything you could think of on site. Nice garage space for games and activities in case of rain. Overall really nice property and we had a great stay!

Nice cabin for young family
We had a very nice stay. In particular, the property owner was VERY responsive and accommodating. They seemed to have everything you might need for your stay covered - from firewood (for purchase), to an extra fridge, to lifejackets and lawn chairs, to wifi/TV/speakers etc. We also appreciated the detailed guide/tips they provided making check-in, check-out, and everything in between a breeze. The cabin was clean and spacious, and had an AMAZING view of the lake. The garage was a nice additional space to play and hang out - especially if the weather doesn't cooperate. The best part of this property though was the private beach area. Wonderful for swimming of all ages. Very nice sand, well kept, minimal weeds etc. The lake itself was on the smaller side, and was pretty crowded on the weekend. The fishing was not great, but we didn't care as we spent most of our time swimming anyways because the beach area was so nice. There is a nearby town bar (conveniently within walking distance), that had good pizza.

Family getaway
We had an awesome relaxing family getaway here. Swimming, fires, paddle boating, and lots of fishing. We caught a lot of fish during our stay. The home is beautiful and the sunsets are amazing. It was fun to watch the eagles fly around and get their fish. We all had a great time. Thanks again!!

2nd time here
As a 2nd time guest we were overall satisfied with our stay but not as impressed as last year. No question a perfect beach set up for young kids and larger or small groups. We found the overall cleanliness/condition of home to be less than last year but ok. Upon checking in the hot tub was not usable due to the green scummy water, owners were responsive and on 3rd day had it emptied and refilled. There is a lock on thermostat so for 3 days while working with owners, house ran warmer than we would have liked (72-75 shown) yet warmer upstairs, tough sleeping in 3rd floor bedrooms. Eventually they turned it down but AC unit struggles to cool house below 70, again upstairs much warmer; need a larger unit for size of house. We found keeping all the blinds closed against sun to be helpful but sad to loose the great view. Washer/dryer in unit is awesome, layout of home also great.

Great lake house
