Nice, rocky shoreline is accessible by foot and fun to explore, but not ideal for swimming or launching kayak -- no worries, a couple very good kayaking locations just up the road. We had an outstanding visit and wished we'd had another day or two to enjoy the area.”

“This small cottage just off of Lake Barkley was a delight and exceeded our expectations. It was extremely clean, well supplied, everything we needed, and more. The power was out for a while after a storm, and the hosts were prompt and informative when we contacted them with questions. We would stay again, and just might! ”

“This place exceeded our expectations! This was a last minute trip for us over the 4th of July weekend. The house is beautifully decorated in up to date decor. The cleanliness of this place wonderful. It had everything we needed to make us feel right at home. The king size bed was amazing, I slept peacefully every night and it is literally surrounded by lucious green tree’s, I opened all the blinds! A perfect picture of beauty. Yes there are a lot of steps to the boat dock, not a place I would……
