“The house was nice and newer and accommodated a family . However was not exactly like the pictures. The swing in backyard was missing, couch was duct taped (causing skin to stick to couch), many of the lights in living room/kitchen would not turn on, and the counter stools were missing. There was a sign that said hot tub was not working but was not disclosed prior. The propane tank was empty on grill, luckily we brought our own. We had to buy a sponge for the kitchen to wash dishes and paper……

“We were very satisfied with the distance from the lake. We also love that we were able to take the dogs with us. The interior was very lovely, and the exterior was nice. No stickers and dead grass. Overall, great experience.”

“For an older hotel the room was clean even tho the carpet was older One side door we weren't able to access using our hotel room key. This door was closest to the handicap parking that we used”

“Breakfast was awful. No cranberry juice. No bagels. Wierd bread. No apples Meager. Entrance to office and breakfast not really handicapped accessible. Big cement curb to get there. Room smelled funny.”

“Everything was great except trying to get towels. I have stayed there a few times and always have to keep asking to get towels put in the room because they never have them in the room when I check in.”

You cannot go wrong staying at The Pelican in Truth or Consequences! Give yourself a break, take the whole family. Great memories because of the set up 💗”

“We specifically chose Dam Site Lodge because the property appeared to be a quaint, charming place to stay rather than a typical hotel along the highway. Unfortunately, the actual condition of the room was extremely disappointing and, in some respects, genuinely concerning. When we entered our room, we found dead insects, as well as a cigarette butt left inside the room. The overall cleanliness and condition of the room were unacceptable. More concerning, however, were the electrical safety……
