"An amazing stay! The property itself is surrounded by mountains, that adds to the location! The common area / patio is where we spent our evening where a few other guests were hanging out as well. The set up was amazing and we enjoyed hanging out there. There is also a hot tub in the vicinity that can be enjoyed based on availability. The room was spacious enough with a big bathroom. We went in Sept and the ventilation can be a bit tricky as the heater was making our room too hot. There is no staff here, you can access your keys from"

"South Iceland Guesthouse was about 30 minutes from Vik. There are 7 rooms and about 14 people , a very nice big kitchen and 3 bathrooms, 1 bathroom had a burned out light, but even with two, we never had to wait. Our room was really small. It had 2 twin bunk beds and it was hard for 2 people to move around at the same time. However there is a large shared sitting area. Overall, we quite liked it, except for the size of the room."
