"We were greeted by the owner…she very graciously showed us around the hotel and gave us a room with a view of the New River. She was very welcoming. The 1902 building has been beautifully restored. The room was great…as a side note, she told us that they would be opening a steakhouse in town in a couple of weeks. The space worked very well for us as a couple. Note that they have rooms and dining options available for scheduling an event for friends and family."

"The thing that impressed us most about the cabin was how well the kitchen was appointed and the thoughtful provision of tea, coffee, herbs, spices and much more. The eggs, milk, bagels and Philly cheese provided for our breakfast was particularly appreciated. Everything else about the cabin was well up to standard. Unfortunately we only stayed one night so didn't get to enjoy the fire pit. Thank you, Michelle."
