“I booked the house for the Marji Gesick mountain bike race. I had five friends travel with me as a support crew. The house was excellent for our needs. Plenty of beds and 1.5 bathrooms. A well stocked and large kitchen and plenty of living space. Outdoors was a nice grill, screened in house on the lake and a canoe. I caught a pike right off the dock Friday! “The hosts (Ken and Sara) have thought of everything that a guest could want. We only had to bring our own food, but they had the fridge stocked with sodas when we arrived. They supplied microwave, toaster, cooktop with oven, plates, cups, utensils, kayaks, fishing rods, life vests, shampoo, body wash--I could list a hundred more things. The hosts texted us to be sure that we were able to access the cottage easily and get settled in. They also checked with us during our six-day stay to ask...

“This was a nice cabin. There are five cabins on the owners' property. The owners had good communication but were otherwise unobtrusive. The main hot tub is shared with cabins 1-4, but cabin 5 has its own private one. Most importantly I took my rescue pitbull and had no issues with the owners or other guests. Some properties have a lot of dog rules so I was pleased to see this property was more lenient.”

“The location is quiet and private.There are 5 cottages and a main house so you have some privacy. The cottages are nice and have all your necessities. The view of the lake is beautiful! We all enjoyed our stay at Elemental on beautiful Shag Lake! Our host George was helpful and communication was perfect! ”

“Beautiful home and perfect get away for our family of 5 celebrating our son’s birthday. Owners were wonderful and the house was exactly as described. Highly recommend. ”

“Owner is a great guy. He responded to text right a way. Every thing was great. I had only one minor issue the driveway is grass and wasn't mowed. My feet got wet coming and going. I will use this properly again. ”

“We had an awesome weekend getaway at Cabin 5. The hot tub was nice after an evening of fishing. My husband caught 7 fish and I caught my first fish! The shower was a little tricky at first but once you figure it out it makes sense. The sink water pressure wasn’t that great but we didn’t have much use for it since we didn’t have much dishes nor needed it to cook with. If so, you just have to be patient . The beds are super comfy and overall cabin 5 was just perfect for the two of us plus our pup....

“Relaxing and beautiful ”

“We came for a lityle getaway to relax and wind down between a busy summer and the start of our daughter's senior year. We couldn't have found a more perfect spot. Both cottages were just as described and the seperate bunkhouse was perfect for the teenagers to have their own space. The little deck over looking the river was the perfect spot to sit with a glass of wine and abook. Deb was very communicative and checked in to be sure we had everything we needed. “Great location for ice fishing and snowmobile riding. Up North Lodge restaurant/bar is only minutes away with a great menu selection.We rented two cabins which were perfect for our party of 8. Kitchens are a bit small, but have everything you need for cooking meals. Host was great to work with.”
