“Very basic room, spacious, but needs some work. Good value for an overnight stay on the road, but no frills. Looked like there might be some permanent residents at this facility.”

“Pool was out of order -- did not look like it would be repaired soon. Was not communicated with booking. Hallways had odor. Carpet was dirty and stained. Bathrooms did not include shampoo, conditioner, or body wash. Pillows for a kind bed were small. Bed was uncomfortable. Fireplace in the room did not seem to be working. Screens on outside of windows were damaged. Did not feel comfortable staying there. Left after an hour. So far have been unable to get a refund from the property. Would not……

“Nice property in a lake area. Kind of a basic motel but well kept and it had a better-than-average continental breakfast available compared to similar properties. The owner was extremely sweet and friendly when we had to change our reservations.”

“I absolutely loved this place-- it's a real throwback to the 70's (decor) and is right in line with what I think of when I think "up north". The place is CLEAN-- and that's pretty much all that I need. The folks running the place were super friendly, very nice, and very helpful-- when they were around. We didn't really need them too much, so not a biggie (plus, they live onsite, so we just knocked on their door to ask about the soap/shampoo, which weren't in the room). The access to all……
