Here are the issues that we experienced: road noise, tobacco smoke rising from the restaurant, inadequate interior lighting, no hooks for towels, too few hooks for clothes, the sheets were not clearly clean. If you stay here, request a room on the back, away from the road and restaurant. The place has potential, but the little details matter. ”

“They provided an infant bed that was spacious enough for our 2-year-old, which was very helpful. The view from our room overlooking the lake and mountains was absolutely stunning. There was also a sauna in the basement, although it wasn’t mentioned at check-in. Breakfast was served as a buffet with a great selection of ham, cheese, and fresh fruit, even though there were only two groups staying. Coffee and fried eggs were prepared upon request. “The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. Beds were not the most comfortable and amenities were an additional cost. The photos of the pool/ other areas around the property on here are not very accurate.”

“Two nights using the hotel as a base to visit Nova Gorica and Bled. Breakfast buffet was extensive - continental choices plus scrambled eggs and British sausage. Room was spacious and bed was very comfortable. The dining room staff sometimes does double duty at registration desk. Lots of tourist information. Bus stop is a 5 minute walk and train station is a couple of minutes longer.”
