"Clean but need remodeling other than just rooms"

"First, we checked in on Thursday, April 16, not Wednesday, April 15 as shown to the left. The hotel was very nice and the staff was excellent, especially Melody who worked at the front desk and who listened to and addressed our concerns with warmth and understanding. She was just excellent. What wasn't so good was the constant and loud noise that occurred on Friday night. Our room, 204, was located and open to the main floor, just below us, from which many people (presumably hotel guests) seemed to be partying and yelling and screaming throughout the night as we tried to sleep. That part of our stay was not not good at all. We were facing a long drive the next morning and the loud commotion from the main area just added to our stress. "

"The only positive thing I can say is that this placd was newly renovated and clean. This hotel also engages in price gouging at busy times. Over $300 for a 2-star hotel is insane and I didn’t realize until after we already checked in that prices had gone down significantly after we booked. The hotel is very noisy—the walls/doors must be made out of paper. I got to listen to every word of conversation from multiple rooms as loud as if they were in the room right next to my ear, could hear people using the toilet and showering, and heard the constant chiming of the elevator despite being not near it. And the worst of all, at 6:45 in the morning got awoken by someone violently vomiting and coughing for 15 minutes straight when I really needed to be sleeping. Only book if you are noise tolerant. I also offered this feedback to the hotel when checking out and they didn’t respond."

"Ok hotel but dated. Hallways had lots of scuff marks. The rooms bathtub was in bad shape and the chair had lots of stains."

"I was not able to check in at check in time which is 3pm. They told me I needed to wait for an additional 1/2 hour. We ordered room service, and we never got it. We tried to put the heat on, it was a bit cold, and there was a nasty/burn like smell so we needed to shut it off."
