"Great staff, good food, but guests often left rubbish and glasses around the pool etc and although that’s not the hotels fault they should have staff going round and keeping it tidy on a regular basis"

"I really liked this adults only hotel. Compared to the hotel we came from in Grand Baie, this was a nice and relaxing change. Without kids running around, it made for a quieter and more relaxing stay. Everything was lovely from our room to the grounds to the available water activities. However, with the lack of children, the food options were limited. Sometimes I just wanted a simple pizza or some ice cream, but that wasn’t available at dinner. Also, the nighttime entertainment was less touristy and family oriented, which isn’t necessarily bad, but it would’ve been cool to see some local, cultural entertainment. The overall atmosphere was very relaxing and serene, which I loved. The vibe in Flic-En-Flac is just very chill, which I also loved, in comparison to the busy, touristy vibe of Grand Baie. Really, there isn’t too much to complain about here. The staff was very friendly, the beach/pool areas were great, the room was nice and big, and it was easy to park the car since the hotel was at the end of the street (I.e. not much traffic). I’d love to go back to this hotel in the future. Highly recommended!"

"A beautiful resort. All staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely. Beach was clean and safe. Sundowners watching the sunset each evening were fab. We played padel and tennis. I would recommend that you reduce the padel price for guests who have their own rackets and balls which we did. We had a lovely holiday, thank you."

"Sugar Beach is fabulous! Beautiful spacious rooms, the resort is spotlessly clean, with fantastic restaurants & bars and the staff are wonderful. As a family with two teenagers, we’d highly recommend it. And visiting in July, the temperature was hot, but not too hot - just perfect. "

"A Truly Memorable Stay – Warm, Welcoming, and So Worth It! My fiancé and I came from Canada and stayed two nights at Crystal Beach Resort Bellemare in December 2023 and it was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the warm welcome to the incredible service, everything was exceptional. The food was fresh and varied, the drinks were great, and the entire staff from reception, housekeeping and restaurant made us feel genuinely cared for. As Mauritians living abroad, we were deeply touched by how respectfully we were treated just like any international guest. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been our experience at every hotels we’ve been in Mauritius, but this hotel made us feel truly seen, welcomed, and appreciated. "Le Preskill island resort is nestled by a crystal-clear lagoon on the south east coast of Mauritius. What I liked most about the hotel is the stunning sea view, mountain, additional facilities, restaurant, and the overall atmosphere. The hotel's customer service is truly exceptional. The staff ( Alain, Mackline, Shenaz, Deepak, Ravi Sankonah, Ravi Teelwah, Chrisna, Anand, Pravin, Cindy ) were great, very welcoming and helpful. The food was terrific. "We travelled from Australia and stayed at this beautiful hotel in Mauritius, let me tell you hands down this is one of the best hotels I have been to with breathtaking sea views, private beach, beautifully unique designed hotel and best five star in class service.
