Steps to the Beach and a Stroll to Fort Lauderdale Nightlife

Our house is located on a private cul-de-sac street that is only 50 meters from the Fort Lauderdale Beach. Highway A1A (our cross-street) is the primary, ocean road that runs from Miami north thru Fort Lauderdale to Palm Beach. Fort Lauderdale's primary nightlife and beach-front restaurants are only a 2 kilometer (1+ mile) walk/drive from our street. The famous Galleria Mall with exclusive stores is a 1 mile drive while Sawgrass Mall with hundreds of outlet stores is 30 minutes away. Supermarkets, movie theaters, golf, restaurants, and nightlife are all short drives from our house while Downtown Fort Lauderdale/Las Olas Boulevard is a great venue for art stores, boutiques, nightlife, and high-end restaurants. Boating/fishing excursions, jet skiing, and parasailing are all offered nearby on Fort Lauderdale Beach. The port for the major cruise lines out of Fort Lauderdale is a 10 minute drive while the Fort Lauderdale International Airport is a short 15 minute drive from our house.


Household Amenities: Our house has a few extra amenities for both children and adults. There is a removable safety fence encircling the pool to prevent accidents for small children. A very important safety feature that allows children to play in the backyard without fear they accidentally fall into the pool. We also have a wide array of children's toys, children's books, board games and card games as well as a Playstation for video games.

There is jogging down the beach or biking in the Nature Park located directly behind our street as well as swimming in the Ocean or our pool.

Great location!

Short walk to the beach and to several great places to eat. Beach was not crowded. Craig was responsive and helpful with our questions. We would stay here again!

Great location, one block to the beach. Safe neighborhood, great back yard with heated pool. Host was very responsive. Beach gear (wagon, chairs, umbrellas, etc) were available. There were more than enough beds and living space for all of us. Outdoor space was great. We’d stay again!

Family vacation 2025

The best part of the property is the proximity to the beach. It is just a few homes away with a direct walk light to the beach opening. Craig, the owner is very responsive and wants to ensure you have a good time. We recommend this home for family vacations.

Highly recommend!!

We completely enjoyed our stay while we were in Fort Lauderdale. The house is in a great location, so close to the beautiful beach, plus the private pool was perfect when we just wanted to relax at the house. The home has multiple seating areas giving plenty of space to stretch out – and the house was very clean! Check in and check out were super easy and Craig is a wonderful host. We had a great time and hope to return for another visit soon!

Great Location and Ample Space!

Girls trip! Loved the proximity to the beach and private (heated!) pool. There was ample space for each of us to lounge, eat and sleep. Home was clean and the owner was very responsive and friendly. Only thing to possibly note is the home could use some updates. But, overall, a nice find and I would return!

Property Close to the Beach

The house could use some updates, but overall worked for our family and friends. You could easily walk to the beach. The kids really enjoyed the pool. Craig was easy to talk to and helpful with issues that arose while we stayed.

Great stay!

Craig was super informative and helpful. Our flight arrived very early, and they let us check in early. The house itself is super close to the beach and equipped with a pool. The safety fence was perfect for our kids. The house had so many kid items, it made our stay much more enjoyable. The house also has a large office off the master, which we used as an extra bedroom for one of our kids. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Vacations

Property was exactly as advertised and provided exactly what we needed for our stay in Fort Lauderdale. A1A Beachfront Avenue

This VRBO was only steps from the beach and during March break the location was perfect, close to amenities (a lovely little French café Nanous) but far enough from the spring break chaos. The beach was great and safe for the kids to move to and from the beach and house without concern. We rented a car and it was an easy drive up Sunrise blvd to get to a Publix or the huge Sawgrass outlet mall. The house was dated but clean and well kept. The back years had a great pool and was an oasis. Craig the owner was very responsive and check in was a breeze. Highly recommend this VRBO.

Family vacation

We had a wonderful vacation though it rained the whole time. We enjoyed all the board games in the house, enjoyed the heated pool and the spacious kitchen and dining room for cooking together and playing games. The host was excellent and easy to get in touch with.

Great location and space

Craig's home is in a great location, just down the block from the beach, with plenty of space in the home's multiple bedrooms and living areas. The furniture and condition were a bit worn/outdated, but consistent with the photos and everything was clean. Craig was very open to communication and provided recommendations, which were really helpful.

Great vacation home

We rented this listing for a multigenerational family for the month of March. Location is great, right across the street from the beach with many restaurants, supermarkets, cafes nearby. The house was great, plenty of room, kitchen well stocked with cooking utensils, pots and pans, dishes and flatware. Pool area was lovely with comfortable seating and was maintained for us during our stay. Craig is a great host, very quick to respond to any questions or concerns.

Look no further

Beautiful, spacious, clean. Location is key. One minute walk to sunrise every morning. Gorgeous. Pool was warm although entire pool area was shaded all the time; this house could be improved with a few less trees by the pool although they and the tropical plants were certainly beautiful. Would love to stay again.

Best rental ever

The house was beautiful, clean and had everything you can think of under the sun for your vacation needs. Including tons of kids toys for the house and the beach. It's a very quick walk to the ocean and in a more quieter area. Craig was an amazing host and went above and beyond. We will be back.
