Fort Simcoe Historical State Park Tours

Great place. We’ve stayed at many places along that strip over the years, & this was by far the best in this price range. Very cheery & helpful front desk. Being familiar with this area in general, I was prepared for some local riff-raff to make an appearance. Sure enough, a couple of sketchy characters came on to the hotel property. They were promptly (within a couple of minutes) trespassed from the property by a couple of the male staff. I was never feeling in danger, but those guys really made me feel at ease. Kudos to the staff for their handling of a situation that, at other area hotels, may not have been dealt with so promptly & professionally.

Had one of the best nights sleep ever in a hotel. It usu takes me more than one night and definitely not the first nights sleep. Hotel is immaculate Beds so comfortable Great pillows
