Holiday Inn Colchester by IHG
It was a lovely hotel. Lovely facilities to use. We had a wonderful stay as a family. The only issue that there was no lift.

St Nicholas Hotel
The hotel itself (hallways) is a bit like a travelodge but the room we stayed in, 911, was really clean and the bed was really comfy. It was quite warm though so not sure what it would be like in summer.

The Essex Golf and Country Club
Room was spacious. Clean. Could do with a bit of a refurb perhaps. Spa and pool were nice. We didn’t take the pre paid breakfast option. A beautiful and very well equipped apartment. The only downside was a very uncomfortable bed. Mattress way too soft.

Staycations Maldon Suites
The place was huge the value wonderful parking right out back great people food, just walk everywhere myself wife and daughter came all the way from the USA and couldn't have ask for better.
