“Our stay at The Opal and West House was amazing! We stayed for a friend’s wedding and found traveling around the city extremely easy and quick while staying here. There was unfortunately an issue with our AC during the first day of our stay, but Lynsie was so accommodating ensuring us a perfect stay! We can’t wait to come back!”

“Elizabeth and Dave could not have been nicer! The Inn is definitely a gem. The wealth of jazz memorabilia in the bed and breakfast was incredible. Each room has a different jazz theme too.Dave is so knowledgeable and a wonderful story teller. Elisabeth is warm and genuine. She gave us a wonderful recommendation for Sunday night dinner as everything else was closed. Dave is the chef and asked if we had any food allergies the night before and honored pur requests. “We used the Hunt House as one of our "home bases" while in the area for our son's wedding. It was awesome to have a comfortable place for our parents/grandparents and extended family to stay together throughout the event. It is a lot of house! Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, and sitting areas. It feels reminiscent of visiting your grandma's house...but that is part of what made it so very comfortable. We would definitely rent again for a similar scenario. Super clean!”

“Charming bed and breakfast. The owners/hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the property. The gardens outside were lovely. Breakfast was delightful with coffee served in real chinaware and flowers on the table! The extra cost is well worth it. Such a different experience from staying at a chain hotel. Made for some great memories!!”
