The cabin grounds were well kept---wild flowers, wildlife, sound of river were amazing. Great location--a quick drive to town. The clean-up from flood devastation, fires is ongoing and upon completion will be a real paradise again. "

"Staying at the lazy moose Lodge was an excellent experience, we stayed in the house for a full week for a hunting trip in Ruidoso and it amplified our entire experience. The home was clean upon our arrival and everything was in place in an order, the kitchen was fully stocked with all necessary cooking items. The beds were a little firm but comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The checkout process was simple and minimal tasks were needed before departure which was a huge plus, being able to see elk and deer outside our door along with a wild horse was just the icing on the cake, we will definitely be staying here again. "

"The living quarters were just as advertised! The private driveway was excellent and there were no steps, which is great for those with mobility issues. Located on a quiet street, the view of the mountains is very nice! We saw wild elk and wild mustangs, even heard an elk bugle while sitting on the deck enjoying a glass of wine! The host was quick to respond to emails and was very concerned that we enjoy our stay, which we did! Highly recommend! "
