DePauw University's beautiful campus anchors this charming midwestern college town with its nature park and performing arts venues. Visit the Putnam County Courthouse square for local shops, then explore the peaceful Robe-Ann Park where community festivals bring the small town to life.
I would highly recommend this hotel! I think it was probably the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed, and the beds were super comfortable in a large room. The location is ideal (we came for the festival). A restaurant is located in the hotel. We would definitely stay here again.

It is a historic three story home built in the 1800’s on 9 acres. The 6 rooms are richly appointed. The area is surrounded by corn fields. The owner, Hans is an excellent friendly host and a first class musician. He also serves as a breakfast chef and serves french toast from a family secret recipe. My wife and I throughly enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if luckily our travels bring us back to the area. Highly recommended.

VERY clean and spacious rooms. We slept well. The staff was pleasant and helpful. They provided a variety of breakfast foods from the desk as they were not able to open the dining area due to the COVID concerns. Will definitely stay here again when we travel to IN. Thank you, Best Western Martinsville, IN.
