“It was loud we got one downstairs their best room( larger suite) just to catch the next morning flight from Gunnison airport. Well renoviert and looked very clean .Best pillows and bedding we had in enitite trip to Vail and Aspen. Breakfast was much better than expected with scrambled eggs and what you needed.”

“Area was quiet and safe. Bed was comfortable. Staff was not very friendly. It was a bit run down and decor was very out dated. Lots of towels provided, but they were very thin. Price was a bit high for a motel. ”

“Absolutely my favorite stay on our summer road trip. The room was decorated on theme and was clean and spacious. Restaurant was good and there was outside live music the night we stayed. Everything shut down at 9:00 so it was very quiet for the night. Long (5.5 mile) dirt road getting to the lodge but well worth it. Would have loved to stay longer and rent an ATV to explore. Staff was very nice and helpful. Very remote but they provide everything you need.”

“Overall, the hotel's environment and facilities and staff are good, but two things make me uneasy. Firstly, the bed is wrinkled, which gives the impression that someone has slept on it before, although the quilt looks new. Secondly, the bottom of the swimming pool appears dirty, making it impossible to determine whether the water is clean or dirty.”

“The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice. The bed was comfortable. It is very convenient to use for hiking trails and for the free bus into Crested Butte”
