8/10 Very Good! (1,001 reviews)
The Quality Inn Hyde Park is a good option if you don't want to spend a ton of money at the Beekman Arms but also don't want to stay in one of the skeevy-looking motels in the area.
Though it could definitely use upgrades here and there (carpets, painting, etc), the front desk staff is very friendly and helpful, the room was affordable and clean, and the place was very quiet (we stayed on a Wednesday night).
There's free breakfast in the morning with coffee and juices, danish, cereals, yogurt, bagels and breads w/a toaster, a waffle-making station, and even some pre-made fried eggs (similar to what would be on an Egg McMuffin) and sausage. It was a pleasant surprise, since most hotel "breakfasts" are a crappy level of "continental."
