“Clean but pool was under construction and I wasn't allowed to get my money back to change hotels because I went through Expedia. Only reason I picked this hotel was because of the pictures of the pool and my kids couldn't use it.”

“The place wasn't anything special just a bed and bathroom. Had a tv and great A/C for the hot summer day. I went in August. If you need just a place to sleep and shower this was a great option for me. They also gave me a water when I went to the front desk and asked. The people were very kind and always available. Again not a 5 star stay, but a good place to stay if you are in a pinch.”

“The room was clean and had no bugs. But when we arrived, our room had no soap and only one thin bath towel. The door was warped, and the deadbolt was very difficult to latch. The AC unit was noisy and looked like coffee had spilled on it. To top things off, it is hard to get into because it faces a one way street and the neighborhood is not great. My wife did not feel safe.”

“I use Holiday Inn Express and Suites whenever I travel between CA and NC twice each year. I really do not like leaving negative reviews, but Abilene is consistently higher priced than the other cities I stay in (Tucson and Tuscaloosa) and the hotel is never as clean and up to date. “I stay at Days Inns often and have never seen one this bad. The room was ok, but the TV didn't even work, nor did the phones in the room or the lamps. The reception area door was wide open for however long and flies were everywhere. I have to travel to Abilene every quarter moving forward but for sure won't be staying at this Days Inn ever again. It looks scary from outside as well.”
