8.2/10 Very Good! (1,766 reviews)
This hotel is in a great spot of Chicago. Very close to a lot of good restaurants, within walking distance of the river walk, and close to the night life of river north. The hotel rooms are very small, with very little amenities. The hotel charges an "urban fee" like a resort fee of $25 a night, however, you have to Request to have your room made and request for new or more towels. Also they did not advertise the complimentary coffee truthfully. I was under the assumption before 11am customers would be able to get coffee from the Hotel cafe *as advertised on Expedia*. NO- there are little self-serve coffee tanks on the other side of the cafe for people to make their own drinks. Why charge the fee if the services is not actually included? I felt I definitely was not getting my money's worth in terms of the service fee. However, the staff was nice and greeted us upon arrival.
