“It is good to have an open kitchen in the room for preparing simple meals. The environment is quiet and comfortable.”

“Had a lovely stay at Windsor cottage. Well presented, great amenities and the most comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Slept like a log! Ate out in local restaurants, which were lovely especially Alberto’s Italy. There are a couple of free parking areas in town 5-10 minutes away. During our stay there was a film set in place for Father Brown and a restriction at the end of the road. It didn’t take away from our stay, but was glad of the premier inn parking just a 100m away. “During a 12-day rail trip around England, this was one of eight stops along the way. I prioritized locations within short walks from a train station throughout the trip, and this property fit that plan. The room is a converted 1-Car garage. Although small, it was clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. The host was VERY nice, agreed to store our luggage for the day while we visited nearby tourist attractions, and was very responsive to my messages both before and during out……
