"We had a fabulous time here. Wonderful continental breakfast. Excellent tea served in the afternoon. Very comfortable beds, nice bathroom. But the topper was by far the folks who work here. Everyone was so helpful and very kind. We were given terrific tips on what to do and where to go. I’d love to stay here again! Thank you!"

"The staff were really lovely and considerate of our late arrival after breaking down twice on our way there. They had cheese sandwiches waiting for our late arriving grandchildren and couldn't have been more helpful Definitely stay there again if needed."

"Kingfisher cottage was fabulous. The hosts were amazing and the cottage was even better than described. Lovely treats on arrival for both humans and pooch, such a nice welcoming touch. We wouldn't hesitate to book again."

"For an overnight to catch the ferry it was great. The bed’s comfortable and room very clean. It is a wonderful location to walk down to waterfront and restaurants. Be sure to book restaurants in advance in high season or weekends. Great value - self checkin - easy parking across the street."

"The location is perfect for access to the beach and several good restaurants and cafes.The house was ideal for 4 adults, 2 small children and a dog. Plenty of indoor space for the kids to play but no garden, only a small patio area, but because you are so close to the beach it didn’t really matter. The host was very helpful with good advice and being flexible to our needs."
