“Lovely home. Both dock and deck were wonderful ways to start the day with a cup of coffee watching ducks and eagles and end the day looking at the stars. Bed was comfortable. Shower was amazing, relaxing. Did have some rain so had the opportunity to watch a movie and use the popcorn maker which is an extra added touch. House is well equipped for everything you might need. Thank you for opening your home. Would definitely stay again if ever visiting the "icebox of the country" again!”

“We enjoyed staying at the island cabin. Lovely views. Nice large dock with fish cleaning station. We had bald eagles in the pine tree next to the cabin waiting for the cleanings. Deck is perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Only complaint we had was the advertised ice maker(s) did not work so we unexpectedly had to go buy ice. Otherwise a lovely relaxing week spent enjoying Crane and Sand Point lakes.”

“Location was incredible!! Quiet nights and many sounds of eagles, loons and water lapping…wonderful! We took full advantage of the water toys and dock and fire pit. “Loved the sauna (especially because it was a colder week), loved how well the house is stocked - household items all available like soaps and kitchen stuff, in addition to a generous supply of firewood. House is very clean and well looked after, neighborhood is quiet and family friendly as well. Our host was amazing, very quick to respond to questions! Lake area is quiet so we could swim, but lake is huge so the water is cold, we brought gear to swim in cold water.”

“Great hotel. It is close to the train tracks. But I didn't have any issues with it. Rooms are super comfortable. Hotel has a cool design. It's about a 10 min drive from international falls. Which has plenty of food & a few shops. Bed was soft. Hot water was great. And overall if we're ever in the area again, I would book here. Top floor with the outside hot tub has a view of the lake. ”
