“We chose this property due to its close proximity to Ft. Knox, only about an 18 minute drive. Our daughter was graduating from Advanced Camp, and this option was so much more convenient and affordable than multiple hotel rooms. We have stayed in multiple VRBO and Airbnb properties, and i have to say that this is the best of the best. Our host, Kellie, thought of everything and more. “We had such a wonderful stay! The property is beautiful and peaceful, with plenty to enjoy — from hiking and spending time by the water to exploring local restaurants. We especially loved the visits from the chickens, deer, and the owners’ sweet dogs. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, sharing the history of the property along with their inspiring vision for the future. This was such a relaxing and refreshing experience, and we left feeling truly recharged. Highly recommend!”

“You can’t beat the views from the deck. Great to see the barges float down the river. Cell coverage is difficult (at least with Verizon), but that’s ok so that you can just get away & relax, and enjoy the river life. Took a driving tour along the Ohio River, really enjoyed all the small towns in the area. Great place to get away!”

“Husband and I had to be out of state on short notice and preferred to not stay in a hotel. Found this AMAZING getaway, close enough to where we needed to be, yet at the end of the day wonderful relaxing nights. Quiet, beautiful, best sleep I have had in years! Campfire at night and work up to deer and turkey visits in the morning. We will be back! ”

“Tranquil property right on the river. Despite the bad weather Mother Nature decided to bring during our stay, it was still a great getaway with peace, and relaxation. The hot tub was a nice touch to enjoy on the front porch watching the river and all the birds feeding from the birdhouse. Was just right for what we needed. ”

“This is a beautiful house with nice curb appeal. Inside, it reminds me of a modern version of the movie "The Great Outdoors." With really nice tongue and groove pine board walls and distressed kitchen cabinets. Beyond that, getting to the well maintained dock was pretty simple and it gave us easy acces to our boat and the lake. ”
