"The hotel has a nice idea of a little jungle right outside the urban area. Easy airport shuttle. Staff were helpful and attentive for the most part. Clearly was nicer in past and needs some updating. The view of the city is beautiful and it is a nice escape into a more remote area. That being said the food is ok. There isn’t much around you can walk to so unless you have a car or uber it’s hard to go to a restaurant etc. on site there is a little pool and some massage chairs and a small walking trail. Just go to relax if you have a day or two in SJO but not longer unless you have a car."

Could not recommend this place more. Hope to go back someday. I do recommend taking your own hair dryer and a clothes line to hang wet clothes if you travel in the rainy season."
