“The hotel was charming and old. You feel like you traveled back in time. The hotel is on the strip and was very convenient but at night if your room is near the street the local drunks can be loud at night. We tried to use the washing machine onsite but there is no coin machine or soap so you have to fend your self of you want to use the onsite amenities. There is parking behind the building for customers which is very nice because there is very limited parking in town.”

“Staff was helpful and hotel was fine. And it was clean. It's a bit of a run down bldg. And it is expensive because it is in Juneau but it is right downtown. We had a room on the back and it was quiet. We were there for a short night before an early morning flight. The staff reserved a taxi for us for 5:30 am. The taxi did not arrive and the morning staff for since that they'd had problems with this taxi company. We had no problem getting a Lyft. The nighttime staff person thought maybe a taxi……

“Hotels in Juneau are very expensive during the summer. The owners exploit the tourists and Alaska residents who must travel through Juneau pay the price.”

“The staff was great. We arrived late at night at the airport and our hotel pickup was great. Just called the hotel and they came and got us. The hotel is dated but clean and neat. Lobby staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was initially a disappointment because we were expecting more but the coffee was good and there were lots of energy bars, yogurt, and instant oatmeal packs so… no excuse to be hungry. The location is very close to the the city bus line which was easy to use… only one……

“The check-in process was confusing as apparently my assigned room was given to another guest. It took a staff of four to figure out what happened but they more than made it up by upgrading to a room with water views.”

“I think the biggest downfall of this listing is the details. I wish I would have known it was a shared space, I feel like the listing currently doesn’t do a good job at explaining that well. After arriving and being extremely confused I looked at the detailed email I got 3 days before check in and saw those details when I was checking in via the owner’s website. That does a good job at explaining it, but the Expedia booking definitely lacks. The kitchen was extremely dirty in the sink and on the……
